Migraines

A type of increased sensitivity to light and sound as well as by high levels of pulsing pain. Migraines may be accompanied by a prodrome where the patient will see streaks of light or auras and are often followed by a feeling of fatigue. Other migraine symptoms may include nausea and vomiting. Migraines can be triggered by a variety of factors including smoking, stress, and caffeine.

Cannabis has been shown to alleviate migraines and migraine symptoms due to its ability to mimic the body’s natural endocannabinoids, which play a major role in endogenous blood pressure control.
