Multiple Sclerosis

A disorder of the body’s nervous system that is characterized by the generation of glial tissue. The body’s glial tissue serves to isolate nerves and help conduct impulses, or synapses. Over time, the disease leads to irreversible neural damage. Unfortunately, the mechanism for the disease is not well understood at this time but symptoms can include coordination issues, vision disturbances, and altered sensation.

Cannabinoids have shown to help ease multiple sclerosis symptoms and some studies indicate that cannabis may even be the key to halting the progression of MS.
